Hi, I brought this up in the soap opera thread, and then realized it might not be such a bad thread after all...

as far as I know, legitimate non-album Isaak released tracks are...

Suspicion of Love (Married to the Mob)
Shake, Sister ("b-side")
Eyes of Texas (think of tomorrow bonus cut)
So Lovely is the Night (in japanese! Do I Have the title right?)
Winter Waves (charity comp)
Dark Moon
Little Cloud that Cried (from Perfect World)
Fast and Slow
Everyone Gets Down (from the "please" single)
The Best I Ever Had (Let Me Down Easy b-side)
It Wouldn't Be the Same Without You
Blue Moon (Elvis tribute)
Besame Mucho
I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry (Mr. Wrong soundtrack)
You Are My Sunshine (w/ Ray Charles)

Did I forget any? Lemme Know!
Now, I love em ALL! Isaakette already voted for "Best I Ever Had," which I may have to agree on -- I not only think it shoulda been on "Always Got Tonight" I think it shoulda been the first single! The song is infectious (not a surprise) and upbeat (maybe a surprise!) and really caught my attention. Beyond that, I especially dig "Everyone Gets Down" (typical moody Isaak) and "Little Cloud That Cried," which I know some hate, but I think it's an incredible vocal performance...

What about you guys/gals!

Yep - I'm with you 'global, Best I ever had is my favorite B side song. Uptempo and a good vibe, I find myself walking around singing it all the time. biggrin.gif

I love "the best I ever had" but do you know which one
made me dance around the kitchen like a loony
tune - Fast n' Slow! I wasn't too sure when I first
heard it but it grew on me and it's one of my favourites. tongue.gif

So who is sugar cookie and why does Chris
whisper it at the end of the song? blink.gif

There's nothing like being an obsessive collector...it can get quite expensive rather quickly. I try to limit such obsessions to a few artists (Beatles and solo, Oasis, BR549, Chris Isaak). I guess it keeps me off the streets and out of the bars at night but I gotta find a new hobby!

Ahh, the exhaustive list. Thanks, Beanlips, but we were on the same wave length -- I didn't put up the tunes that were variations on stuff he's recorded or released on regular cds (although I didn't know that "Blue Hotel" was every on any of the unplugged comps)...I got em all myself, although after I bought the Christmas cd, I found out that the Target version had an extra cut, so off I went...but didn't go back and buy the Australian version when I found out that had yet another tune...
